Saturday, September 1st, 9:30 a.m. @ The Bucksnort

Hello to All Sphinx Park Members and Friends,

It's that time again; the leaves are beginning to turn, the nights are a touch cooler...and our Fall Meeting is just around the corner. As usual, it will be held the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend: September 1st, 9:30 am, @ The Bucksnort.

It has been a relatively quiet summer here in the canyon, with the exception of the Bucksnort, now under new owners Kathy and LJ Weller, which is once again rockin' and rollin' as in days of yore. Despite a few heavy downpours - with the roads quickly graded back into shape by our faithful volunteer Roadies, Mike, Todd and Tim - our monsoon season has been relatively light this year. A bit too light actually, with so many fires burning all around the region. Even though the Stage 2 Fire Ban has been lifted, please continue to exercise extreme caution with any flammables!

Just a quick reminder for any Members who have not paid their 2018 SPIA Dues, you can bring your payment to the meeting and hand it directly to our Treasurer, Kathi Hartman. Your annual dues keep our community working - Thank you!

As always, if you have questions or concerns before the meeting, feel free to contact me. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you all on the 1st when we can meet and greet neighbors and old friends and catch up on all the news.

Cheers!

Caitlyn Bryan and your Sphinx Park Board
